Affiliate Disclosure

Last updated: May 7, 2026

The Short Version

Some links on this Site are affiliate links. If you click one and take an action (like requesting a quote or purchasing a policy), we may earn a commission — at no extra cost to you.

Our affiliate relationships do not influence what we recommend or how we evaluate products.

The Full Story

OneTopStop.insure is a free, editorially independent publication. To keep the lights on and continue publishing free content, we participate in affiliate marketing programs with insurance companies and related financial services.

What this means in practice:

When you click a link marked with an asterisk (*) or an "Ad" label, or links to insurance company quote pages, we may receive a commission if you request a quote, sign up for a policy, or take another qualifying action. This commission comes from the insurance company or partner — not from you. You pay the same price whether you go through our link or navigate directly to the company's website.

How This Affects Our Editorial Content

It doesn't — and here's why we mean that:

Our editorial policies exist specifically to prevent affiliate relationships from compromising our content:

  1. We don't recommend products just because they pay us. If a company pays us a high commission but we wouldn't recommend their product to a friend, we don't recommend them to our readers.

  2. We evaluate products based on their merits. Our guides and comparisons are based on coverage quality, pricing, customer service ratings, financial strength, and ease of use — not on who pays us more.

  3. We clearly label affiliate content. Posts that contain affiliate links include a disclosure notice at the top.

  4. We accept that this means lower revenue sometimes. We regularly recommend free resources, state-funded options, and products from companies with no affiliate program because they're the right recommendation for readers.

Our Affiliate Partners

We may have affiliate relationships with insurance companies, insurance comparison platforms, and related financial services. This list may change over time as we add or remove partnerships.

We will update this page as our partnerships change.

FTC Compliance

This disclosure is provided in compliance with the Federal Trade Commission's guidelines on endorsements and testimonials (16 CFR Part 255). We believe in full transparency with our readers.
